Slag:

Continental Cement & Materials can provide two types of Slag suitable for ASTM standard.

1. Slag cement (Ground granulated blast-furnace slag): A hydraulic cement formed when granulated blast-furnace slag is ground to suitable fineness.

2. Granulated blast- furnace slag: The glassy, granular material formed when molten blast-furnace slag is rapidly chilled as by immersion in water.  Also referred to as granules.

Fly Ash:

We have the ability to sell Dry and Wet Fly Ash ASTM C 618 class F which is a common request for certain markets.  Fly Ash and Raw or Calcined Natural Pozzolan for use as a Mineral Admixture in Portland Cement Concrete.

Gypsum:

By weight about 4% to 6% Gypsum inn crushed condition is utilized in Portland Cement manufactured after mixing with cement/clinker gypsum acts as a retarder and controls the setting time of cement.
